Title: Data Entry/ Clerical
Reports to: Administration Manager

Job Summary

Our Data Entry/ Clerical position is responsible for the data input into templates and providing administrative support. This role requires a strong customer service focus and positive disposition to handle daily priorities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reply to customer questions regarding formal reporting of job files
  • Focus on customer service through service quality and timeliness of documentation release
  • Prepare formal documentation through use of word processing templates in Microsoft Word and distribute completed paperwork to customers for all branches
  • Put together formal quotations or proposals as requested by management for inspection of lift equipment or engineering services in compliance with company procedures and guidelines
  • Complete the formal documentation in accordance with set templates for the inspection and testing of equipment
  • Input records for job files performed by the company into company database
  • Support the Edmonton office with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, faxing and deliveries when necessary
  • Ensure inspection and certification documentation for equipment or related engineering services is complete for review in a timely and efficient manner


  • Positive outlook with a strong customer focus
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of Products including MS outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English

Education and Certification requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years experience in an office environment
